| Principal Duties: | Supervise and co-ordinate activities of Drivers.
Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of workers who operate city and highway equipment. Establish methods to meet work schedules. Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve performance. Recommend personnel actions. Dispatch drivers and monitor routes to ensure schedules are met and to resolve operating problems. Other duties as assigned. Works entirely in the Relay Dispatch office area. This is a 7 days on, 7 days off rotation with a 12-hour shift. Monday to Sunday, 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. |
| Minimum Requirements: | Completion of secondary school required.
Proficiency with Windows based applications required. Superior communication and active listening skills required. This is a seven days on, seven days off night shift from Monday to Sunday, 17:00 to 05:00. |
| Preferred Requirements: | Several years of experience as a dispatcher preferred. |
