| Principal Duties: | Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of Drivers.
Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of workers who operate highway equipment. Establish methods to meet work schedules. Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve performance. Recommend personnel actions. Dispatch drivers and monitor routes to ensure schedules are met and to resolve operating problems. Other duties as assigned in support of Linehaul operations. Works entirely in the Central Dispatch office area. at 1450 Inkster Boulevard. Evening shift - 18:00 to 6:00, seven days on, seven days off, Tuesday to Monday. |
| Minimum Requirements: | Completion of secondary school required.
Superior oral communication and active listening skills required. Fluency in English required. Working knowledge of Windows based applications required. |
| Preferred Requirements: | Several years of experience as a dispatcher preferred. |
