| Principal Duties: | Coordinate and supervise the activities of Linehaul Drivers.
Scheduling of Linehaul Drivers home time and communicate with all involved. Involved in the Hearing of Investigation and grievance procedures for personnel supervised. Assist in determining eligibility to entitlements, assist in Linehaul drivers’ training and provide information or services such as employee assistance, counseling and recognition programs. Establish methods to meet work schedules. Recruitment of Linehaul Drivers. Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve performance. Recommend personnel actions. Monitor routes to ensure schedules are met and to resolve operating problems. Other duties as assigned in support of Linehaul operations. |
| Minimum Requirements: | Variable schedule as required by personnel issues and service requirements. Works almost entirely within the Linehaul office area.
Completion of secondary school education. Computer knowledge, MS Office, Excel, Word. Knowledge of US DoT/ Canadian Hours of Service. Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Regulation. |
| Preferred Requirements: | Interviewing skills or experience with recruitment preferred.
Transport driving experience an asset not a requirement. Dispatch experience an asset not a requirement. |
