| Principal Duties: | Develop and improve systems, procedures and methods to ensure proper freight classification and shipment weights.
Coordinate all W&I activity at the Service Center (SC) to achieve annual goals. Assist in the development of W&I goals. Coordinate and/or conduct training of supervisory/labour personnel in proper weighing and inspection techniques. Develop effective W&I approach for the SC to maximize employee experience and involvement. Coordinate freight type studies and density studies to assist in rating accuracy. Work with sales, operations and the external customer to ensure the customer is invoiced based on accurate weight and description of freight. Other duties as may be assigned in support of the dock and freight handling operation. Tasks performed in Terminal office, Dock office, Dock and City Dispatch. Monday - Friday, 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm. |
| Minimum Requirements: | Completion of secondary school required.
Computer Skills, MS Office Applications. Experience with the dock operation is required. |
